Don’t expect much more; if you are looking for something with detailed clinical or scientific information on small animal medicine you should seek out a book on internal medicine. However, if you are simply looking for lists of differentials with respect to laboratory and physical exam findings this is an absolute gem. I have the kindle version, and it is extremely user friendly and easy to navigate. There have only been a handful of times that the book was no able to provide me with a list that I needed. I am finishing up my third year of veterinary school and I firmly believe this will be a go-to volume for me during my clinical rotations. While this should not be solely relied upon for information, it’s a great start to begin ruling things in and out.
So helpful for blood work changes and physical exam findings to help you explore possible differentials. Quick and easy to flip through.
My granddaughter is 5 months from graduating from OSU’s vet school. She was thrilled to get this book for Christmas. I was thrilled to for having it available. If you think you are going to need this book, please order it now because some of them are on backorder. I just know it is going to help her a lot as she starts the real vet work in May.
